Michigan HB4876 amends the school aid act to require annual funding for career and technical education programs starting in 2026.

Michigan HB4876 amends the school aid act of 1979 to mandate that the legislature appropriate funds each fiscal year to support career and technical education programs and vocational-technical education programs. The funding must be at least equal to the total amount allocated under sections 61a, 61b, 61d, and 62 of the state school aid act of 1979. This change takes effect beginning with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026.
