Michigan HB4809 amends vehicle registration laws to enforce toll payments on international bridges and tunnels.

Michigan HB4809 amends the state's vehicle registration laws to enforce toll payments on international bridges and tunnels. The bill allows the Secretary of State to refuse vehicle registration or transfer of registration if an individual fails to pay six tolls for more than 90 days. The bill also allows the Secretary of State to enter into reciprocity agreements with other states or tolling entities to enforce toll payments. These agreements must include a dispute resolution process and data sharing standards.
