This bill amends the Open Meetings Act to allow the Children Trust Michigan state board to hold meetings remotely under specific conditions. It permits electronic meetings from March 18, 2020, through March 31, 2021, for any circumstance, and from April 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021, only for accommodating absent members. After December 31, 2021, remote meetings are allowed only for accommodating members absent due to military duty. The bill also mandates that public bodies with an official internet presence post advance notice of electronic meetings on their websites.
