Chamber Passed·1/14/26

Michigan HB4806 updates the vehicle code to align with the state child abuse and neglect prevention board.

Michigan HB4806 amends the vehicle code to ensure that fund-raising plates or collector plates recognizing children's trust must be designed by the secretary of state in consultation with the state child abuse and neglect prevention board. It also mandates that donations collected for these plates be transferred to the state treasurer and credited to the children's trust fund for the benefit of children in the state. This act will not take effect unless Senate Bill No. ____ (request no. S03667'25) or House Bill No. 4807 (request no. H03667'25) of the 103rd Legislature is enacted into law.
