Establishes a grant program for public broadcast stations in Michigan, managed by the Department of Education.

The bill creates a grant program for public broadcast stations in Michigan, administered by the Department of Education. Public broadcast stations can apply for grants to support programming and services that meet public media needs. The Department of Education will accept applications from January 2 to March 15 each year, and decisions will be made by June 15. Grants are limited to $1,500,000.00 per station. The program is funded by the Public Media Fund, which receives an initial appropriation of $13,000,000.00.
