Michigan HB4750 amends the Michigan Children's Trust Fund Act to require the Department of Health and Human Services to manage benefits for children in foster care. The department must use or conserve benefits in the best interests of the child, including for services for special needs not otherwise provided. The department must also provide financial literacy training to children in foster care when they turn 14. The department must ensure a minimum percentage of benefits is conserved for children aged 14 to 20.
