Michigan HB4745 amends the charitable solicitations act to modify exemptions from registration and reporting requirements for charitable organizations. It exempts organizations that do not solicit or receive contributions exceeding $25,000 in a 12-month period if all fundraising functions are carried out by unpaid individuals. Other exemptions include organizations that confine solicitation activities to members and their immediate family, educational institutions, veterans' organizations, and those serving chronically ill individuals.
