Allows possession and use of psilocybin and psilocyn under specific conditions for individuals diagnosed with PTSD.

Michigan HB4686 amends the state's controlled substances act to permit the creation, manufacturing, possession, and use of psilocybin and psilocyn for individuals diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This exemption applies to individuals who are 18 years or older, possess no more than 2 ounces of a substance containing psilocybin or psilocyn, use the substance only for personal purposes, and provide a medical record confirming their PTSD diagnosis.
