Exempts veterans from paying fees for concealed pistol license applications and renewals.

Michigan HB4529 amends the concealed pistol licensing act to exempt veterans from paying the application and licensing fees for concealed pistol licenses and renewals. The bill specifies that veterans are not required to pay the $100 application fee or the $115 renewal fee. The state treasurer will deposit $36 of each fee collected into the concealed pistol licensing fund of the county, and forward the remaining balance to the state treasurer to be deposited in the general fund to the credit of the department of state police.
