Michigan HB4510 amends the Retirement Funds Investment Act to permit the investment of retirement funds in cryptocurrency by the state treasurer, provided the cryptocurrency has a market capitalization of at least $250 billion averaged over the previous calendar year. Digital assets must be held in the form of an exchange-traded product issued by a registered investment company.
