Allows use of campaign funds for child care expenses related to campaign activities.

This bill amends Michigan's campaign finance law to allow candidates and their committees to use campaign funds for caregiving expenses directly resulting from their campaign activities. Caregiving expenses include costs of direct care, protection, and supervision of a child or other person with a disability or medical condition for whom the individual has direct caregiving responsibility. This provision aims to support candidates who are also caregivers by allowing them to use campaign funds for necessary caregiving expenses incurred due to their campaign duties.
