Michigan HB4462 amends the election procedures to remove certain electors from the voter file. If the Department of State receives information indicating a registered elector has moved, they must send a notice to the elector. If the elector does not respond within 15 days before the next election, they may be required to affirm their current address before voting. If the elector does not vote within a specified period, their registration will be canceled. The bill also addresses procedures for electors who have not voted for 20 years or more.
