Michigan HB4445 amends sections 40102 and 40111a of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to allow deer feeding during open seasons. Deer feeding is defined as depositing, distributing, or tending of feed in areas frequented by wild, free-ranging white-tailed deer. This does not include baiting to take game, scattering of feed from normal logging or agricultural practices, or storage or use of feed for agricultural purposes.
