Establishes an Infectious Disease Worker Safety Commission in Michigan to determine best practices for employee safety during infectious disease.

The bill creates the Infectious Disease Worker Safety Commission within the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity. The Commission will determine best practices for employee safety during infectious disease emergencies, including personal protective equipment, handwashing stations, and distancing requirements. The Commission will consist of representatives from labor unions, private sector, public sector management, and health care professionals specializing in epidemiology, contagious diseases, occupational safety, and health.
