Expands authority of peace officers to enforce laws outside their jurisdiction.

This bill amends the 1927 Public Act 175 to expand the authority of peace officers from various entities, including counties, cities, villages, townships, public airport authorities, qualified authorities, and universities, to enforce state laws, administrative rules, and local ordinances outside their jurisdiction. The bill allows these officers to pursue and detain individuals who violate these laws outside their jurisdiction if the violation occurred within their jurisdiction or if the officer witnessed the violation and immediately pursued the individual.
