Michigan HB4286 modifies health education standards to include instruction on human development.

Michigan HB4286 amends the state's education law to update health education standards by the 2026-2027 school year. The changes mandate an overview of human biology related to pregnancy, an overview of human development inside the uterus, a high-definition ultrasound video showing early fetal development, and a computer-generated rendering or animation showing the process of fertilization and every stage of human development inside the uterus.
