Subjects mineral rights acquired by certain foreign entities to forfeiture procedures in Michigan.

This bill amends Michigan's criminal procedure law to include mineral rights acquired by certain foreign entities in the forfeiture procedures. Mineral rights obtained through violations of the mineral rights protection act are subject to forfeiture. The forfeiture applies to any property used in the commission of a crime, proceeds from a crime, or substituted proceeds of a crime. The bill's enactment is contingent on the passage of House Bill No. 4275.
