Michigan HB4146 modifies supervised postgraduate experience requirements for psychologists with limited licenses.

Michigan HB4146 amends the licensing requirements for psychologists with limited licenses. It mandates that such psychologists must be supervised by a licensed psychologist who holds a full license, unless they are employed by a governmental entity or a nonprofit organization serving benevolent and charitable purposes. The supervision requirement does not apply if the psychologist is not diagnosing autism spectrum disorders or if they have held the limited license for at least three years and are diagnosing such disorders.
