Michigan HB4097 prohibits the installation of 4G or 5G main transmission antennas on public school buildings, rooftops, and adjacent structures.

Michigan HB4097 amends the Public Buildings Act to prohibit the installation of 4G or 5G main transmission antennas on public school buildings, rooftops, and adjacent structures, or within 1,500 feet of a school building. This restriction does not apply to equipment installed before the effective date of the amendment. The bill allows the installation of small internet routers unless they weigh 15 pounds or more or are used solely for 4G or 5G service.
