Michigan HB4006 prohibits zoning ordinances from banning commercial weddings or similar events in agricultural zones.

Michigan HB4006 amends the Michigan Compiled Laws to ensure that zoning ordinances do not prohibit the use of barns or other agricultural facilities for commercial weddings or similar events. The bill allows for the regulation of noise, advertising, traffic, and hours of operation but does not allow outright bans on such events in agricultural zones. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days after its enactment.
