Massachusetts S469 modifies the composition and term lengths of the Assisted Living Advisory Council. It adds the speaker of the house or their designee and the senate president or their designee to the list of officials who can appoint members. The bill increases the number of members from three to five, requiring one to represent the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association, Inc. and another to represent Leading Age. It also changes the term length from one year to be coterminous with the governor's term, with vacancies filled for the remainder of any unexpired term.
