Massachusetts S458 expands high school student access to earn industry recognized credentials.

Massachusetts S458 expands high school student access to earn industry recognized credentials by providing financial incentives to school districts. The bill offers $750 for each student who earns a certification for a high-value occupation or one recognized by higher education for credit. It provides $600 for students earning certifications for occupations with lower wages, unless the certification is stackable and required for a higher-wage occupation.
