Introduced·2/27/25
Introduced Text

Massachusetts S331 mandates a biannual audit of college and career pathways programs to assess alignment with labor market needs and student outcomes.

Massachusetts S331 requires the secretary of the executive office of education, in collaboration with other secretaries, to conduct a biennial audit of public high school college and career pathways programs. The audit will evaluate the alignment of these programs with labor market demands, assess student participation and outcomes, and recommend phasing out programs not meeting labor market needs. The audit will also provide information on program availability, quality, and student outcomes to help students and families make informed decisions.
