The bill authorizes the town of Bourne to convey a 50-foot wide permanent right-of-way and easement to Algonquin Gas Transmission, LLC for pipeline construction, maintenance, and operation. The easements are located on certain parcels of land within Joint Base Cape Cod. In exchange, Algonquin Gas Transmission, LLC will convey a 7.00-acre parcel of land to the commonwealth for fish and wildlife conservation. The value of the easements and the property interest will be determined by independent appraisals.
