The bill creates an After School and Out-of-School Time Opportunity Fund to support access and quality of programs for school age children and youth. The fund will be administered by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. It will consist of 3 percent of the receipts of the sales price of purchases received by all marijuana retailers. The fund aims to support the establishment of and increase access to and the quality of afterschool and out-of-school time programs.
