Establishes a task force to evaluate and recommend improvements to medication administration in Massachusetts rest homes.

The bill creates a task force to evaluate current best practices and make recommendations to strengthen medication administration in rest homes. The task force will review current practices, including the use of responsible persons for medication administration, and explore other models in use in Massachusetts or other states. The task force will also consider operational and financial factors of implementing a new system. The task force will submit a report with recommendations to relevant legislative committees by December 31, 2026.
