Establishes a trust fund for assisted living residences and creates a task force to study affordable assisted living.

The bill establishes the Assisted Living Residences Trust Fund to be administered by the secretary of aging and independence. The fund will use collected fees and fines for staffing, compliance, investigations, ombudsman services, and public data management. A task force will study affordable assisted living residences, considering definitions, target populations, and financing models. The task force will submit a report with recommendations to relevant officials by December 31, 2027.
