This creditable service applies to his time as a police officer for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. The state board of retirement will transfer funds received from Joseph D. Ryan upon his retirement or death, with accrued interest, to the Massachusetts Contributory Retirement System. The state board of retirement will not bear liability for this transfer if Joseph D.
