Massachusetts S3001 establishes continuing education requirements for licensed massage therapists.

Massachusetts S3001 amends the state's massage therapy laws to require licensed massage therapists to complete 20 hours of continuing education every two years for license renewal. These hours must include two hours on ethics in massage therapy, completed in person, and one hour on infection control. Up to six hours can be completed online or through home study courses, while the remaining hours must be completed in person through live classes or webinars.
