Massachusetts S297 proposes to expand dual enrollment for high school students in Gateway Cities by creating an Early College Access Program. This program will provide needs-based financial assistance to students who live in or attend high school in a gateway municipality and qualify for or receive free or reduced-price lunch. Students receiving assistance will participate in the Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Partnership at no cost and can earn up to 24 college credits.
