Massachusetts S2968 allows the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to transfer certain land parcels in Milton to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation for highway purposes. This act is necessary to support an intersection improvement project at Randolph Avenue and Chickatawbut Road. The Department of Conservation and Recreation will receive compensation for the impacted lands, and the funds will be used to acquire comparable conservation land. The Department of Transportation will cover all costs related to the land transfers.
