Massachusetts S2961 authorizes Dighton to use a portion of conservation land for public way purposes.

Massachusetts S2961 allows the town of Dighton to transfer control of specific conservation land parcels to the Board of Selectmen for public way purposes. The land, identified as parcels 076/020.0-0012 and 076/020.0-0013, was previously taken for enhancing the Taunton River Watershed and other municipal purposes. This act overrides any conflicting laws and takes effect upon passage.
