Authorizing the town of Berkley to grant additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises

Chamber Passed·4/27/26
Introduced Text

Massachusetts S2553 authorizes the town of Berkley to grant up to five additional licenses for on-premises alcoholic beverage sales.

Massachusetts S2553 allows the town of Berkley to issue up to five additional licenses for establishments to sell alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption. These licenses are subject to all provisions of chapter 138, except section 17, and can be granted to businesses in the town's General Business District. If a license is canceled, revoked, or no longer in use, it must be returned to the licensing authority, which may then grant it to another applicant. The act takes effect upon passage.
