The bill dissolves the North Carver Water District, transferring its assets, liabilities, obligations, and duties to the town of Carver. The town of Carver will then supply the area formerly served by the district with water for extinguishing fires and for domestic and other purposes. The positions of North Carver Water District commissioners and superintendent will be abolished, with their duties passing to the select board and director of operations of Carver.
