Massachusetts S2483 amends Chapter 40 of the General Laws to allow municipalities to designate parking spaces for non-handicapped veterans in off-street parking lots, large retail parking lots, and parking garages. Municipalities can reserve up to two parking spaces for every additional five hundred parking spaces in a parking lot. The reserved spaces must be marked with a sign stating "Veteran Parking Only— this space is reserved for those who have served.
