Massachusetts S2385, known as CeCelia's Law, amends the penalties for right of way violations by motor vehicle operators. It increases fines and suspension periods for violations resulting in injury, serious bodily injury, or death of another person. The law also defines "serious bodily injury" as a bodily injury involving unconsciousness, extreme physical pain, or protracted and obvious disfigurement, protracted loss or impairment of the function of a bodily member, organ, or mental faculty, or a substantial risk of death.
