The bill creates a special commission to investigate and study the development, maintenance, and improvement of the Veterans of Foreign War Highway in Dedham and West Roxbury. The commission will evaluate pedestrian and automobile networks, funding sources, land use, and beautification opportunities. Members will not receive compensation or reimbursement for expenses. The commission will submit its findings and a draft master plan to the Boston City Council, House of Representatives, and Senate by June 30, 2024.
