Massachusetts S210 expands wheelchair warranty protections for consumers with disabilities by requiring manufacturers to provide a minimum 2-year express warranty for wheelchairs. If a wheelchair has a nonconformity covered by the warranty, the manufacturer must repair it at no charge to the consumer. If the nonconformity cannot be repaired after a reasonable attempt, the consumer can choose to receive a replacement wheelchair or a refund of the purchase price.
