Massachusetts S2036 amends the general laws to mandate the governor to issue an annual proclamation for September 11th Remembrance Day. This day is set aside to honor the lives lost and the service of first responders during the September 11, 2001, attacks at the World Trade Center. The governor is also encouraged to recommend appropriate observances for the people of Massachusetts.
