Massachusetts S1489 requires facilities hosting sporting events to have at least one automated external defibrillator (AED) on site. During events, there must be at least one employee or volunteer trained in AED use. If no trained personnel are present, the facility must seek volunteers. A map of AED locations must be displayed at all facility entrances.
