Massachusetts S1359 amends unemployment insurance rules for municipal employees receiving pensions.

Massachusetts S1359 modifies unemployment insurance regulations by reducing benefits for municipal employees receiving pensions. Specifically, it reduces benefits by 65% of the pension amount attributable to the week, if the employer provided at least 75% of the employee's service. This reduction applies only if consistent with federal tax code provisions. Social Security payments are exempt from this reduction.
