Massachusetts S1341 amends the Department of Unemployment Assistance Advisory Council's composition and operations.

Massachusetts S1341 modifies the Department of Unemployment Assistance Advisory Council by changing its membership and meeting requirements. The council will consist of seven members appointed by the governor, including at least one member from each list of nominees submitted by the Massachusetts AFL–CIO, the Massachusetts Building Trades Council, and the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation. Two members will be individuals who, due to their vocations, employments, occupations, or affiliations, can be classified as employers. The governor will designate one member as chairman.
