Massachusetts S1322 amends Chapter 40 of the General Laws to allow municipalities to reserve parking spaces for non-handicapped veterans in retail parking lots and garages. The bill permits municipalities to reserve up to two parking spaces in lots with more than 1,000 spaces, and two additional spaces for every additional 500 spaces. Reserved spaces must be marked with a sign stating "Veteran Parking Only— this space is reserved for those who have served.
