This bill extends the civil statute of limitations for child abuse in Massachusetts. It allows actions of tort alleging abuse to be commenced within 35 years of the acts or within 7 years of the victim discovering the injury, whichever is later. The statute of limitations is tolled until the child reaches 18 years of age.
