Massachusetts S1041 allows the attorney general to pursue civil action against violators of Massachusetts citizens' civil rights in other states.

Massachusetts S1041 grants the attorney general jurisdiction to pursue civil action against companies or individuals who violate the civil rights of Massachusetts citizens in other states. This includes cases where consumer activity involves Massachusetts wages or banks, or where a consumer agreement breach causes damages to a Massachusetts resident. The statute of limitations for such violations is tolled while the plaintiff or defendant is outside the state where the violation occurred.
