Massachusetts H90 regulates hemp and hemp products, defining hemp and setting rules for cultivation, sale, and labeling.
Massachusetts H90 amends state law to define hemp as the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, with a THC concentration percentage that does not exceed the limit set by federal law. The bill allows the marketing, sale, or distribution of dietary supplements, food, or food products within the commonwealth that contain hemp or any part of the hemp plant, provided they do not make claims that they can treat, cure, or prevent any disease without federal approval.
