Massachusetts H802 requires voters to present a valid photo ID to election officials before voting.

Massachusetts H802 amends election laws to require voters to show a current valid photo ID to election officials before voting. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, government employee card, pilot’s license, military ID, Medicaid or Medicare card, or a university photo ID for students. This bill aims to establish voter qualifications through photo identification.
