Introduced·2/27/25
Introduced Text

Requires acute-care hospitals and nursing homes to have a registered nurse on their governing boards.

This bill amends Massachusetts law to mandate that all acute-care hospitals and nursing homes must include a registered nurse with a current, unencumbered license from the board of registration in nursing as a sitting and voting member of their governing boards.
