Consolidates Inspector General annual reports in Massachusetts to be submitted to the joint committee on public safety and homeland security.
This bill amends the General Laws of Massachusetts to change the submission process for Inspector General annual reports. The director will now submit a report of the unit's activities to the inspector general for inclusion in the annual report required by section 12 of chapter 12A. The inspector general will then submit the consolidated annual report to the joint committee on public safety and homeland security by April 30 each year. The secretary will make the annual report and all previous reports available on the department's website.
