Massachusetts H577 amends the General Laws to change how public school districts receive reimbursement for charter school tuition. Districts with higher charter school tuition amounts than the previous year will receive reimbursements from the Commonwealth. The reimbursements are 100% of the increase in the year of the increase, 80% in the following year, 60% in the second year, and 40% in the third year. These funds will not be deducted from those distributed under chapter 70.
